A renewable natural gas developer engaged TritenIAG to support the development and execution of RNG projects converting agricultural and landfill waste into pipeline-quality fuel. The client’s objective was to bring projects to market efficiently while strengthening execution discipline as its portfolio expanded.
The initial engagement focused on a dairy waste–to–RNG facility processing manure from more than 12,000 cows supplied by multiple local dairies. TritenIAG was selected to provide technical, contractual, and project management services, leading feasibility assessment, preliminary design, cost estimating, contractor selection, and front-end engineering and design (FEED) management. The project is designed to inject RNG directly into a local utility’s natural gas pipeline for regional distribution.
By establishing a clear project basis and execution strategy early, TritenIAG helped the client advance the project with confidence toward construction.
Following the acquisition of an RNG production company, the client identified a need for stronger project management infrastructure across its landfill gas portfolio. Based on the success of the dairy-to-RNG project, TritenIAG was engaged to review an active landfill RNG development and provide targeted technical guidance.
As the engagement progressed, TritenIAG’s role expanded to include interface management between engineering and construction contractors, on-site construction oversight, and owner’s-engineer support. The structured approach brought improved coordination, clearer accountability, and greater alignment across project stakeholders.
Impressed by performance and results, the client integrated TritenIAG into an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) model for multiple additional RNG projects. Today, TritenIAG continues to support the client’s growing portfolio, providing project management, engineering oversight, project controls, and subject-matter expertise to help scale RNG developments from concept through execution.
