TritenIAG is partnering with ReCarbon, a technology innovator in greenhouse gas conversion, to advance and commercialize breakthrough plasma carbon conversion technology that directly supports decarbonization and the energy transition. At the heart of this collaboration is the ReCarbon Plasma Carbon Conversion Unit (PCCU)—a first-of-its-kind system that transforms carbon dioxide and methane emissions into valuable synthesis gas (syngas) and clean hydrogen. This transformative technology enables the conversion of waste greenhouse gases into feedstocks for fuels, chemicals, and industrial applications, helping bridge the gap between emissions reduction and economic value creation.
Building on TritenIAG’s deep project development expertise, the partnership has identified and advanced the design of three large-scale PCCU facilities across North America, Australia, and Asia. These plants are architected to deliver optimized operational performance, meet stringent environmental objectives, and unlock downstream pathways into petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, fertilizers, and sustainable fuels such as hydrogen, ethanol, and jet fuel. TritenIAG’s role includes technical leadership in project planning, engineering strategy, and commercialization planning—ensuring that this emerging technology can be deployed reliably and economically at commercial scale.
The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to clean energy solutions that reduce environmental impact while delivering economic benefits. By bringing the PCCU from concept to market, TritenIAG and ReCarbon are demonstrating a new paradigm for how carbon emissions can be converted into high-value products—supporting hard-to-abate sectors in their decarbonization journeys and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable industrial future.
TritenIAG’s involvement reflects its broader expertise in shepherding emerging sustainable technologies through the critical early stages of project development to commercialization, drawing on decades of project execution experience and multidisciplinary engineering and management capabilities.
