Today we’d like to share a project honoring the service of an extended community member, 98-year-old Dorothy Stroud. IAG’s CFO, Bob Woods, shares the story of his mother in law's military service.

My wife Leslie and I were honored to recently host a screening of The Invisible Project. This documentary follows the challenges and military contributions made by female veterans in service to our country. Pacifica Sauer (filmmaker and US Navy veteran) brought these compelling stories to life.
A number of veterans attended the screening but we’re a little partial to the senior member of the group. Dorothy Stroud (age 98) is my mother-in-law. She was in Paris for the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the French Croix de Guerre for her efforts. In 1950, she was called back to serve in the Korean conflict.
The full documentary will be released soon, however, you can see parts of the story at www.khou.com/theinvisibleproject. Special thanks to Pacifica and her colleagues at KHOU for the great work on this story.
