As a five-time CEO, Harris led businesses, public and private, in a number of different market segments, including mobile services and technology, networking infrastructure, automotive technology, marketing services, and healthcare technology. As a founding member of TAP, Harris brings global experience leading operations in more than 30 countries and acquiring or divesting businesses in North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
As a CEO, Harris restructured businesses, built sales and marketing organizations from the ground up, developed and executed on new product strategies, revamped business models, built services organizations, developed partnerships and joint ventures, opened operations in new geographies, responded to shifting legal and regulatory requirements, and rebuilt management teams. Since retiring as a CEO in 2015, Harris has spent his time as a director of a number of businesses and has been advising companies across a diverse set of industries, including technology (mobile and infrastructure), oil and gas services, manufacturing, insurance, fintech, and IT services. Harris has been an active Triten advisory board member since 2016.
Harris has a finance degree from the University of Washington and a law degree from the University of Michigan.
