John Scott Arnoldy is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and majority owner of Triten Corporation, a closely held Houston-based firm. Through majority-owned subsidiary TritenIAG, the company provides project management and consulting services spanning engineering, procurement, and construction for hydrocarbon processing facilities — including refineries, chemical plants, renewable fuels, and other complex energy infrastructure.
John joined Triten directly after college and rose steadily through business development and management roles across the company’s global operations. He has served as President since 1990 and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2002.
Beyond his business leadership, Arnoldy is deeply engaged in civic and philanthropic life in Houston. He has chaired the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center health system, Houston Grand Opera, and the Houston Metropolitan YMCA, and has served on the YPO International board, including as chair of its CEO Board of Directors.
Known to friends and colleagues as Scotty, he has been married to Jana since 2005. Together they have five adult children — four sons and one daughter — ranging in age from 37 to 44, and eleven grandchildren ranging in age from 1 to 11.
