Since 1995, IAG has successfully completed over 150 projects in 17 countries around the world.
IAG applies unique skills and processes, developed doing fast-track FCC Revamp projects, to both gated and fast-track grassroots, revamp and restoration projects. IAG consistently executes projects, ranging from small revamps up to billion-plus dollar grass-roots complexes, on-time and on-budget (IAG's Brochure)
IAG has been retained by Consumers’ Co-op Refineries Limited (CCRL) as program managers for the grassroots portion of the proposed expansion, which would increase the output of Saskatchewan’s only oil refinery by 30 percent.
The grassroots expansion will include a fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) complex to support additional light synthetic crude oil processing from Canada’s oil sands. This expansion will be CCRL’s second large expansion this decade, and would take it above 130,000 barrels per day of crude processing capacity when completed in 2012.
The Century Plant is a joint venture between SandRidge Energy Inc. and Occidental Petroleum Corp. It will extract carbon dioxide from natural gas that SandRidge recovers in the West Texas Overthrust, which Oxy would then use in its enhanced oil recovery. The Century Plant is a $1.2 billion investment.
The plant will go online in two segments. The first segment is expected to be completed in mid-2010, with the second in the first quarter of 2011.
Reportedly, the plant will increase SandRidge’s capability of producing methane from high-CO2 gas by five times and expand Oxy’s production by a minimum of 50,000 barrels of oil per day within five years.
